Ménétrier’s disease is an infrequent disease of the stomach of unknown etiology. This disease is causes giant folds of tissue to grow in the wall of the stomach. At present is considered to be premalignant with 15% of affected individuals develop gastric cancer. We present a 56-year-old patient who is admitted by pain in the top middle part of the abdomen, loss of appetite and vomiting. This disease is diagnosed through endoscopy and biopsy of stomach tissue. We provide an update on the optimal therapeutic approach, which has not been clearly defined to date
