Abstract

Case report about a male patient 57 y/o with a Neuroendocrine Tumor of the duodenum who received treatment at the National Cancer Institute. Clinical síndrome and lab correlation of abnormally high levels of Catecholamines and Serotonin. A diagnosis of advanced Low Grade Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (Grade III) was made. Nonetheless, the patient looked in good condition. He required multiple surgical interventions and radioablation for liver metastases. Aditionally MIBG therapy for systemic disease in progresión. On the other hand, the received medications to control symptoms and high hormone levels, chronic and acutely adjusted near surgery.
