It presents the case of a young woman, who consulted for dysphagia and odinophagia of short evolution; as immediate precedent informed the consumption of tetracycline in capsules for the treatment of the acne. The endoscopic examination demonstrated two (2) small ulcers in the medium third of the esophagus without decrease of the caliber of the organ. It was given managing with sucralfate with resolution of the symptoms. A review of the topic is done and measures are recommended to avoid this pathology.
