Biliary fistula is an infrequently occurring disease in which gall stones pass from the gall bladder to the duodenum causing intestinal obstruction. In most cases the stones’ impact is at the end of the small intestine. When the stones impact in the duodenum it is called Bouveret’s syndrome. We present a case study of a patient with acute cholecystitis and another case study of Bouveret’s syndrome, together with a summary symptoms, diagnostic techniques, and treatment.
