NUSTEZ, Carlos E.; SANTOS, Marcela; NAVIA, Sonia L.  e  COTES, José M.. Evaluating phosphoric foliar and soil fertilisation on "Diacol Capiro" potato variety yield (Solanum tuberosum L.). Agron. colomb. [online]. 2006, vol.24, n.1, pp.111-121. ISSN 0120-9965.

Four experimental sites were selected for evaluating the effect of phosphoric foliar and soil fertilisation on yield and specific gravity; the "Diacol Capiro" potato variety was used in this study. The evaluation included 20 treatments combining two factors: phosphoric fertilisation of soil (0, 100, 200, 300 and 400 kg· ha-1 of P2O5) and foliage (0, 5, 10 and 15 kg· ha-1 of P2O5)); a control treatment consisting of commercial dose fertilisation (farming practice) was included. No differences in specific gravity were found in any of the factors evaluated; varying phosphorus dose levels thus did not affect this variable. There were differences in tuber yield in response to phosphoric soil fertilisation whereas phosphoric foliar fertilisation did not present any differences. A positive response was only observed with the "Diacol Capiro" variety up to 200 kg· ha-1 of P2O5) dose for first and second tuber size and total tuber yield regarding phosphoric soil fertilisation.

Palavras-chave : phosphorus; specific gravity; crop production.
