ARANGO RESTREPO, Pablo. The doctor-patient relationship. An ideal for the XXI century. Medicas UIS [online]. 2012, vol.25, n.1, pp.63-69. ISSN 0121-0319.
It is necessary to restore respect for the patient, each suffering human being. The physician is a servant to others. Let us return to being physicians, and back to the Hippocratic Oath: in purity and holiness I will keep my life and my art. Being a doctor is much more than having scientific knowledge, a scientist lacking humanity can easily become an illustrated barbarian. A humane and scientific exercise of the medical profession is possible we must strive for, and make our dearest effort to establish. It is mandatory to be a good doctor and a doctor that does good.(MÉD.UIS.2012;25(1):63-9)
