ESCOBAR GONIMA, Carlos. William Harvey and blood circulation: his epistemological obstacles. Iatreia [online]. 2006, vol.19, n.2, pp.199-205. ISSN 0121-0793.

It describes some of the epistemological obstacles he had to face in the elaboration of his theory of blood circulation, contradicting the galenical theory on the subject that was accepted as a doctrine at his time.
