This arricie aims to present an historiographic overview of Colombian televisión, in which we include the analysis of texts of a scientific nature elaborated by experts on the subject, as well as documents produced through the recovery of individual memory, of autobiographies and of essays on the topic; and of authors from diverse disciplines, including philosophers, psychologists, communicators, historians, actors, etc. We are concerned with avoiding the pitfall of "celebrationism" thinking that "the past was always better", or that of justifying the present. But if we think that the fiftieth anniversary of the creation of televisión in Colombia is a propitious moment for recovering our production about televisión, detecting analytical trends, thematic gaps, and valuable innovative proposals for the study of televisión en Colombia.
