MORONI, Marisa. Cattle Raiding, State Control, and Power Relations in the National Territory of La Pampa During the First Decades of the 20th Century. hist.crit. [online]. 2013, n.51, pp.97-119. ISSN 0121-1617.

This article examines the characteristics of cattle raiding in La Pampa during the first decades of the 20th century. The main objective of this research was to recognize the spread of social values regarding cattle theft in the fields of justice and press. We analyze the mechanisms of the state to control cattle theft and the social actors involved in stealing, commercializing, and transporting cattle, to make more complex the interpretations that only associate this crime to subordinate sectors of the society of La Pampa
