This article analyzes rulings and jurisprudence issued within the framework of the Inter-American Human Rights System and in International Criminal Law regarding comprehensive redress to victims and compares the reparation dynamics that have been outlined in the peace agreements and in the institutions created by the Colombian State. In this sense, the methodology used is fundamentally based on the analytical method by reading the jurisprudence of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, the International Criminal Court, and Colombian legislation on redress to victims. The article is divided into three sections that account for the way in which the international legal system has analyzed the phenomenon of victims and the way Colombia has faced this problem in its legislation and jurisprudence.

Keywords : Inter-American Human Rights System; International humanitarian law; Peace Agreements; FARC; Colombian State; Special Justice for Peace.
