This article studies the meaning of the relationship between virtuality and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in times of pandemic, as well as the legal development of the phenomenon in Colombian law. Likewise, it exposes how ADRs have become an alternative to the world’s inevitable status quo due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which affirms that virtual media have moved in the direction of developing social relations and everyday social life. Most known processes are moving to virtual platforms, which are not alien to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and the Colombian judicial system.
