This article presents some results of an investigation about the relation between international mobility and residential trends in the Colombian capital. It aims to analyze the spatial dynamics of international emigration and immigration in Bogota. The research analyzes two population censuses (1993 and 2005) and a biographical survey carried out in the metal research program during 2009-2010. This article is a gateway to understanding the residential dynamics and urban changes from the perspective of international migration in the Bogota metropolitan area.
