Abstract

This article presents the welfare description of a small group of people from the city of Barranquilla, Colombia. The sample selected for the study was formed from subjects that have not been exposed to any kind of violent situation. This articles intent to make an accurate and argumentative point in regards to the welfare of the subjects given their social and political history. It has been taken into consideration the variables of self-esteem, depression and anomia so their personal aspects are also part of the analysis. The results indicate that even though, the situation in which the country is going thru, this group of people keeps a high index of welfare and satisfaction forlife.
