Abstract

MARTINEZ MONTERROSA, ALBERTO. MEDIA GAMES. Investig. desarro. [online]. 2008, vol.16, n.2, pp.304-325. ISSN 0121-3261.

This article summarizes the process and results of an experience in teaching journalism within the framework of a regular subject that has the aim of stimulating awareness — or better passion —for the art of information. Based on the premise that journalism is learned by discovering and affection, the method drops the schemes which had previously led the subject and proposes the student a personal search that is fed during the class and workshop encounters. After being applied for five years, this proposal was acknowledged as the best pedagogical innovation of Universidad del Norte in 2007

Keywords : The art of information; personal search; pedagogical innovation; journalism.
