Thispaper shows the outcomes of a research which main aim is to investigate the children's reception and appropriation processes of the characteristics of the subjectivity childhood representation within nowadays socio-cultural environment. Interviews to 32 boys and girls from different sociocultural and economy levels, aged 8 to 12 years old were held. After viewing two films the children were asked to produce narratives in individual semi-directed interviews and grupal discussion, which were analysed on the basis of Content Analysis. Partial results of such analysis are presented. Aspects of their conceptions concerning the adults-children relationship and the family dynamics are identified. Certain interpretations of the narratives referred to family dynamics, children positions and adults-children relationship within our culture are outlined and interrogated.
