This article presents the results of research conducted at the Industrial University of Santander- UlS-Colombia, in which young people were inquired about the quality of undergraduate education and who currently receive their views on aspects of university life their job prospects. The study was conducted by simple random sampling according to students' distribution by academic unit and gender, with a total population of 357 undergraduate students. From these results the high cost of education, loss of quality, concern for pursuing graduate studies, the good evaluation of the university, the demand for better material conditions and the relative tranquility for the future are highlighted as important issues for students. We conclude that employability is a worrisome issue for the young but also access to high quality education, in accordance with individual training.
