Abstract

The following research study how the management of interna! communication can influence processes of labor inclusión of deaf people from two cases studies in Bogotá: Carrefour y McDonald's. This qualitative and interpretative study was based in observation and semi-estructured interviews. Results suggest that the influence was in: a) importances of internal communication for the Company, b) language and discourse, c) ways of communication and information, d) social image and motivation, and e) participation and interaction. The study concluded that internal communication can eliminate or perpetuate general and specific barriers to organizational communication, based on Margarida K. Kunsch (2003), in the processes of labor inclusion of people with hearing impairment.
