Abstract

The search area of interesting to researcher in Science education is the green curricula of teaching of teacher. Therefor, the next consideration take into account the university teacher of chemistry teacher in relation to knowledge that they have to teach the sustainable chemistry, environmental chemistry and the green chemistry, like levels of green chemistry when teach to chemistry teacher. The methodology included a documental study, in the national congress in Brazil about of chemistry education and teaching of chemistry; it was made analysis with the categories of the pedagogical contend knowledge (PCK). The results show that there is an emerging approach to the theme (green, sustainable and environmental chemistry) because these teachers did not receive training about it; this allowed to see that the knowledge of university teachers is nascent and fragmented; however the study calls attention to encourage research in this sense given the responsibility of university teachers to train new teachers in the perspective of curriculum greening.
