Abstract
VARGAS-VELANDIA, Carlos Julio and MORALES-SILVA, Tatiana Aura. Scientific Skills Analysis in Science Teaching: Comparative Case between Teachers from Chile and Colombia. Rev. Fac. Cienc. Tecnol. [online]. 2021, n.50, pp.57-75. Epub May 09, 2022. ISSN 0121-3814. https://doi.org/10.17227/ted.num50-11129.
Contemporary scientific education emphasizes its work in the dialogue between learning science, its nature and scientific practice, situated in the new challenges of scientific and technological innovation. As well as the public understanding of science through citizen participation in decision-making, gradually integrating technical-scientific reasons into the complex social organization. The results of the role that scientific skills occupy in the teaching of science on stage are shown from a descriptive analysis that compares the perceptions of teachers of basic and secondary education, regarding the formative sense, the methodological and procedural conditions, classification, curricular organization and evaluation process of scientific skills. Thus contributing to characterizing the role that scientific skills can occupy at school, overcoming the instrumental reading that is regularly done in classroom work, an epistemological bias that can even 'empty' meaning the scientific task separating it from a context , a question and a need.
