Resumen

This article aims to establish the encounters and disagreements that are evident between the guidelines of the School Environmental Projects (PRAE) and Community Environmental Education (EAC) as a field of knowledge. It is a product that partially derives from a doctoral thesis research in progress, from which preliminary results are taken and contrasted with the theoretical-methodological references of EAC, in order to identify the points of convergence or distance in the way EA is assumed in the consulted and analyzed sources. In this sense, the research carried out is os documentary type, where the analysis starts from the fact that the Colombian curricular documents do not refer explicitly to EAC, but it is suggested that they could be in line with this perspective of EA. To sum up, this paper will attempt to answer the question: Which are the main encounters and disagreements that occur between PRAE and EAC within the framework of Colombian curricular guidelines?
