Abstract Colombia is a country with important technological and industrial centers located at different heights over sea level; this condition restricts the calibration procedures for pneumatic pressures below the atmospheric pressure. In this work we show the first results of an indirect calibration method that allows covering the full measurement span of digital vacuometers even when calibrated several meters above sea level.
