REYES, Reynaldo; ORIA, Marcos e MOSQUERA, Luis. INFLUENCE OF ATOMIC COLLISIONS IN THE SUB-DOPPLER RESONANCES OF SELECTIVE REFLECTION SPECTROSCOPY ON THE LINE D2 OF CESIUM. Momento [online]. 2018, n.57, pp.1-15. ISSN 0121-4470. https://doi.org/10.15446/mo.n57.70375.
We report a study of the reflectivity of a glass-cesium vapor interface near the cesium D2 resonance line for cesium vapor densities from 0.9 χ 1014 up to 3.2 χ 1014 atoms/cm3. The experimental results are compared with calculations based on a theory on which are taken into account first only the atom-atom collisions and then also taking into account the atom-wall collisions. We also detect a shift for the blue of the frequency of the peak of the resonance 4 → 5 that approximately depends linearly on the density N.
