RODRIGUEZ-CHAPARRO, Monica A.  e  MARTINEZ-TAMAYO, Gustavo. CONVERGENCE OF CHARGE FRACTIONS OF THE LIGHT ATOMS TO THE UNIVERSAL CURVE OF IONIZATION. Momento [online]. 2019, n.58, pp.17-33. ISSN 0121-4470.  https://doi.org/10.15446/mo.n58.77134.

Forty years ago a version of the effective-charge model got rid of the statement that hydrogen interacts as a proton in matter, to account for the stopping power ratios between helium and hydrogen atoms in simple metals. In this paper it is shown how the effective-charge fractions of helium and other relevant light elements in aluminium also obey the Brandt's universal ionization curve. Comparison is done to the succeeding model by Brandt-Kitagawa. The subject keeps on in discussion.

Palavras-chave : Effective charge fraction; electronic stopping power; universal ionization curve; energy loss; light atom.
