RABANAL, Jhonatan. CONTRIBUTION TO THE THERMODYNAMIC THEORY OF BIOLOGICAL EVOLUTION. Momento [online]. 2019, n.58, pp.34-45. ISSN 0121-4470.  https://doi.org/10.15446/mo.n58.66345.

The thermodynamic theory of biological evolution is a model that describes the evolution of biological systems, using the principles and laws of thermodynamics. Unlike Darwin's theory of evolution, this theory uses mathematical models and thermodynamic concepts. Likewise, this theory proposes that open systems with high energy potentials evolve towards systems with lower energy potentials, and in this way seek to reach a balance with their surroundings. In this work, a hypothesis that explains the rapid evolution of biological systems is presented.

Palavras-chave : Evolution; thermodynamic; energy potential.
