Radiotherapy is one of the treatments used in patients suffering from cancer, where the volume of the tumor is irradiated, considering various criteria to avoid damaging healthy tissues, therefore it is important to be certain that the dose given is correct. In order to develop a precise method of verification of treatment planning, simulators of lung and soft tissue were constructed based on epoxy resin, phenolitic spheres and calcium carbonate. These were analyzed by electronic scanning microscopy and validated by Monte Carlo simulation using PENELOPE v.2008 code compared to publications from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). With this, the interaction of the radiation with homogeneous simulators (lung) and heterogeneous (lung, soft tissue, lung) constructed and simulated was evaluated. The main objective of this work is the use of simulating objects in conditions similar to that used in the irradiation of a clinical case in radiotherapy, obtaining dose depth curves (PDP) for small field of 1x1 cm2 and 2x2 cm 2, with photon beams of 6 MeV energy.
