Abstract

CRUZ RIVEROS, Jhonny Walyt  and  GOMEZ, Olga Janneth. Nursing staff perception on the Strategic processes of early detection and specific protection in ips of Bogotá. av.enferm. [online]. 2013, vol.31, n.1, pp.11-21. ISSN 0121-4500.

The research "nursing staff perception on the processes of specific protection and early detection" is a descriptive study that shows the perception of nurses in charge of these programs in Bogotá. The description of processes is based on standards of the Single Accreditation System which is ruled by the legal framework of health institutions in Colombia which are regulated by Decree 1011 of 2006. Standards were applied to a population of 31 nurses; information was collected by mail applying the corresponding methodological rigor and taking into account ethical issues for health research. The research outcomes reveal that nurses understand that processes are implemented and developed according to the process management approach established in standards of the Single Accreditation System. However, it is necessary to strengthen the processes of human resource management since the classification of these processes using these standards does not meet the accreditation category.

Keywords : outcome and process assessment; perception; nursing staff.
