Abstract

COSTA LEITE, Franciéle Marabotti; VASCONCELOS MOURA, Maria Aparecida  and  GARCIA PENNA, Lucia Helena. Women's perceptions about violence against women: an integrative literature review. av.enferm. [online]. 2013, vol.31, n.2, pp.136-143. ISSN 0121-4500.

This article examines the evidence in the literature on the about women`s perceptions regarding violence against women. Study Integrative review we identified 12 articles that composed the sample, from databases BDENF, LILACS, MEDLINE, CINAHL and PubMed. The results: show to low perception of women about the situations as violent, and often complacent and tolerant of violence committed by an intimate partner, perceiving it as cultural and religious norm. It is necessary to expand the studies on this topic.
