Objective:

To reflect, in the light of Edgar Morin’s complex thinking, about what is the meaning of a healthy lifestyle.

Content synthesis:

The themes Complementarity and the concept of health, Lifestyle, human condition and multidimensionality and The healthy lifestyle in the perspective of complex thinking related to the proposed theoretical framework were considered. The reflection allowed to think the healthy lifestyle away from a simplifying paradigm, and constituent of a system marked by the interaction between its constituent parts and all the organization in the context in which it is inserted.

Conclusion:

It was noticed that the search for complementarity allows a new perspective on the meaning of a healthy lifestyle, as a construct that is not reduced to the sum of its parts.
