Resumen
BISPO DE ALMEIDA, Claudio; SOUZA DOS SANTOS, André; BENEMERITA ALVES VILELA, Alba y CASOTTI, Cezar Augusto. Reflection on control of Quilombola access to Brazilian public health. av.enferm. [online]. 2019, vol.37, n.1, pp.92-103. ISSN 0121-4500. https://doi.org/10.15446/av.enferm.v37n1.69141.
Objective:
To think about access to the public health system by Brazilian quilombolas, from the perspective of the thought of the French philosopher Michael Foucault.
Synthesis of the contents:
When reflecting on the Quilombolas access to the public health system, it is important to recognize the existence of "micropowers" in health services and in the relationship with the users of this service. It reflects on the need of exerting social control as a form of guarantee rights to health. Thus, although the unified health system has advances, access to this service is difficult and presents inadequate management and poor social control, points that should be questioned.
Conclusion:
It is perceived that, in the light of the referential theorist Michael Foucault, political power existing in the relations of quilombo-la communities with public health services, creates various difficulties that are perpetuated for years.
