This article critically the recent literature in the social sciences has addressed the issue of social orders, in order to identify what are the different approaches to this issue is addressed, the type of issues or questions that are answers and key concepts and debates involved in your treatment and, based on this, will point out the main challenges that remain for social research in this field.
