The Colombian government has focused in the search of a relationship more balancing and a more diversified agenda with the United States. Of a strategy centered in the counterinsurgency war and the fight against illegal drugs during the last decade, both countries want to go towards a partnership that would concentrate its efforts in the construction of the necessary conditions for posconflict. The present article establishes what as much has advanced in that direction, from the analysis of the central subjects of the bilateral agenda during the administration of President Santos.
