Abstract

GARCIA VILLEGAS, Mauricio. Law in absence of democracy: the juridization of the Colombian political regime. anal.polit. [online]. 2014, vol.27, n.82, pp.167-195. ISSN 0121-4705.  https://doi.org/10.15446/anpol.v27n82.49413.

This article shows how, during the last twenty years in Colombia, the legal dimension of political power, i.e., the legal process of social and political problems has acquired great importance. The article suggest that this phenomenon has critical implications for the characterization of the Colombian political regime and, in particular, for the explanation of what has been called the "Colombian paradox".

Keywords : legal; Colombia; paradox; political regime.
