The economic and political situation being experienced by Spain, with the serious consequences generated by the economic crisis and the current disaffection with the political system, has led to the emergence of new political parties like P odemos. This party, in its attempt to gain broad social support, has tried to adopt a crossideological discourse that overcomes the ideological barriers to reach all sectors of society. Therefore, the aim of this article is to analyze whether the sympathizers of Podemos are representative of all citizens or, on the contrary, they come from certain social groups. The results show that the sympathizers of this party belong to a certain profile of individual, so they are not representative.
