Abstract

LOPEZ ARISTIZABAL, Liza  and  GUERRERO, Freddy A.. THREE DIMENSIONS OF THE VICTIM FIGURE:AN ANALYSIS OF DISCOURSE IN THE COLOMBIAN TRANSITION PROCESS. anal.polit. [online]. 2018, vol.31, n.93, pp.169-188. ISSN 0121-4705.  https://doi.org/10.15446/anpol.v31n93.75623.

The article reflects on the configuration of the victim as one of the most sensitive problems in contemporary times, considering for the analysis the later transitional processes in the Colombian case. The third period of inflection of transitional justice (TJ) in Colombia, which refers to the process of agreement between the Colombian State and the FARC-EP guerrilla group, is analysed. This scenario makes different social, political and legal positions emerge that make up the figure of the victim as a result of tensions, as well as consensus and negotiations between the discourses that display, in accordance with discourse institutionalism, both cognitive and normative ideas of different actors involved in the TJ processes.

Keywords : victims; discourse, transitional justice; cognitive ideas; normative ideas.
