The second item of the Peace Agreement between the Farc-Ep and the Colombian State involves education for peace, within the framework of the recognition of political opposition and the divergence of opinions. The Cátedra de la Paz, as a public policy, is central to achieving that goal insofar as it mandates a curricular space for all levels of education in the country. This paper analyzes the vision of the conflict in the main documents of this policy, reviews in them the emotions / reasons antithesis and interrelates these two elements with the teaching project of the argumentation in the guidelines and curricula. In the conclusions, emphasis is placed on the link between the Cátedra de la Paz and the implementation of the Agreement signed in 2016, especially with regard to cultural transformations at the level of dissent, conflict and argumentative dialogue.
