Abstract
NOVA-LAVERDE, Mariluz; RINCON-HERRERA, Lina and VERGARA-CRESPO, Rubén. NETWORKS AS COMMUNITIES OF EXPERTISE: CO-DESIGN PRACTICES FROM THE ALLIANCE FOR THE RIGHTS OF NATURE. anal.polit. [online]. 2023, vol.36, n.106, pp.234-264. Epub Oct 09, 2023. ISSN 0121-4705. https://doi.org/10.15446/anpol.v36n106.111077.
Founded on the recursive interaction between theory and practice and the co-production of knowledge from the ecology of knowledge, this article presents the collective results of an action research process. Based on the systematization of the co-design experience of the Alliance for the Rights of Nature, it develops the theoretical proposal of social movements as networks of expertise constituted by diverse fabrics and networks and at different scales from whose solidarity interaction hybrid and biocentric knowledges emerge. Through this, contributions are made to contemporary theoretical discussions on collective action and social movements, on the one hand, and debates around science and technology, on the other, in international studies. The paper highlights the relevance of their articulation in a comprehensive view of collective action from the political ontology of design.
Keywords : Social movements; international studies; networks of expertise; design; co-production of knowledge.
