The educational sector in Colombia faces significant differential challenges in the future related to ensuring access to quality education, as well as preserving harmonious and complete educational trajectories. The local and regional administrations for the period 2024-2027 must not only consider the legacy of outgoing administrations but also the evidence regarding the state of the system in the territories to understand their needs and in mobilizing educational indicators. The country has various tools that contribute to decision-making in education, as well as strengthening the design and effectiveness of public policies through specific routes for system transformation. These routes are based on both successful and unsuccessful experiences, as well as rigorous analyses derived from the continuous monitoring carried out by observatories and think tanks.
