Abstract

HERNANDEZ, Iván. LOS MODELOS DE DIFUSIÓN EVOLUCIONISTA. UNA APROXIMACIÓN INSTITUCIONAL. Cuad. Econ. [online]. 2004, vol.23, n.40, pp.79-110. ISSN 0121-4772.

Conventional growth theories ignore phenomena regarding institutional and entrepreneurial variety and diversity. This article analyses these aspects at the level of the firm from the evolutionary growth theory point of view. Implications arising from theory and matters of economic policy show that entrepreneurial policy is not homogeneous for all firms and, contrary to the practices of economic liberalisation, policies are useful depending on the case and context and, thus, cannot be conceived as, " one-size-fits all ."

Keywords : entrepreneurial variety; economic growth; evolutionism; institutionalism.
