This study identifies the population attending preschool, primary, intermediate, and secondary public schools in Bogotá under two approaches: one geographical, contrasting the percentages of poverty by locality with the percentages of students in public and private schools, and the other individual, estimating horizontal and vertical equality criteria for the population of 5-17 years of age with estimated per capita income.
