The aim of this article is to analyze the place that occupies job stability and instability in the early years of the socio-occupational trajectories of young argentines. We start from a longitudinal study, mobilizing quantitative research strategies, from the permanent household survey data, and qualitative strategies, from information collected in two waves of interviews in 2006 and 2008 in the frame of the Panel "Paths, working arrangements and temporalities" of young graduates of different types of education (high school and vocational).
