Abstract

SANTANA, Manuel. Comparative Analysis of Statistical Methodologies and Definition of Variables of Bogota's Trip Surveys, Year 1995 and 2005. rev.ing. [online]. 2009, n.29, pp.148-155. ISSN 0121-4993.

ABSTRACT This article compares the 1995 and 2005 Bogota's trip survey, from the point of view of their statistical methodologies, and from the definition of some variables. In conclusion, the vague definition of variables and the inconsistency of the results of the descriptive statisticians analysis, related to indicators of statistical methodologies of both surveys, makes that historical analysis of the evolution of certain indicators (based on the results of both surveys, such as the average of the travel time or the average trip rate for the whole city) are not possible.

Keywords : Average travel time; Bogota mobility survey; Bogota travel survey; Bogota trips; mobility in Bogota; trip rate..
