GONZALEZ-DIAZ, Belén; LOPEZ-DUARTE, Cristina  and  VIDAL-SUAREZ, Marta María. NATIONAL CULTURE AND INTERNATIONAL GROWTH OF COMPANIES: A LITERATURE REVIEW. Innovar [online]. 2016, vol.26, n.60, pp.83-102. ISSN 0121-5051.  https://doi.org/10.15446/innovar.v26n60.55536.

This paper reviews the literature on the role of national culture and cultural diversity in the process of international growth of companies, with the aim of systematizing discussed topics, the dominant paradigms and the conclusions already presented. It has also made possible to identify gaps and possible conflicting results as well as inconclusive evidence, pointing to the need for new lines of research. In order to do this, we have conducted a systematic review of 171 papers published in 26 international scientific journals of high impact, both on the overall level of management and on the specific field of international management. The period under study is 2006-2011.
