Abstract

Taking into account the Colombian context of investment and adoption of information technologies (IT) in MSMES, this study for the focused on the relationship between IT capacity, organizational capacities and business performance in a group of MSMES engaged in the trade of textile products. The purpose is to identify whether there is a direct or an indirect link between these concepts. From the analysis of the data collected in 102 Colombian MSMES, an indirect and significant relationship mediated by the capacity of customer management is identified between IT capacity and organizational performance.
