HINOJO LUCENA, Francisco Javier; AZNAR DIAZ, Inmaculada  e  ROMERO RODRIGUEZ, José María. HUMAN FACTOR AND BUSINESS PRODUCTIVITY: AN APPROACH FROM THE ANALYSIS OF CROSS-CUTTING COMPETENCES. Innovar [online]. 2020, vol.30, n.76, pp.51-62.  Epub 28-Maio-2020. ISSN 0121-5051.  https://doi.org/10.15446/innovar.v30n76.85194.

Constant changes in the labor market have caused a direct impact on the actions and measures taken by organizations, since these have had to adapt to new emerging models in order to ensure the continuity of their activity. This work aims to establish a Decalogue of cross-cutting competencies in business productivity -as a human factor required to increase the level of effectiveness of organizations- with a particular focus on people. For this purpose, authors followed a qualitative methdological strategy using the Delphi method as a data collection instrument in a sample of 15 experts in labor orientation, training, and human resources in Granada, Spain. Results show that essential competencies for the establishment of short, medium and long-term guidelines are amongst the most valuable attributes, while the least punctuated competencies are those related to the exercise of a leadership role at work. The implications of this type of studies contribute to the improvement of organizations, providing them with useful knowledge for the implementation of training systems based on competencies that foster greater business performance.
