This paper presents a literature review on the measurement of service quality in tourist destinations in Colombia and abroad, identifying the most widely used measurement scales by researchers as well as the dimensions that define service quality in the selected tourist destinations. The review was carried out through a systematic analysis of the literature, selecting articles with keywords associated with the subject under study. The results indicate that measuring service quality is a valuable input for proper decision-making by governments and private tourism organizations.

Keywords : Tourist destination service quality; destination quality factors; review; tourism.
