Abstract

CORTES LANDAZUR, Raúl  and  SINISTERRA RODRIGUEZ, Mónica. After Traces of Social Mobilization and Public Trust: Notes on Social Capital and Development in the Department of Cauca. Estud. Polit. [online]. 2010, n.37, pp.95-123. ISSN 0121-5167.

The present article looks within the mobilizing activity of post institutional reforms of the decade of the 90's, for the characteristics of social capital in the Department of Cauca. It looks to establish a relationship between this mobilizing activity, and the structures of Cauca's civil society organizations, through an econometric model (logit bivariate), that seeks to show the main determinants of internal and external social capital, which are motors of regional development.

Keywords : Capital Social; Republicanismo Cívico; Acción Colectiva; Desarrollo; Social Capital; Civic Republicanism; Collective Action; Development.
