Abstract

MARTINEZ-LANCHEROS, Karen Rocío; QUINTERO-AVELLANEDA, Natalia  and  CEBALLOS, Yony Fernando. Model for the Asignation of Land in the Context of an Integrated Rural Reform. Estud. Polit. [online]. 2017, n.50, pp.326-351. ISSN 0121-5167.  https://doi.org/10.17533/udea.espo.n50a17.

The internal conflict in Colombia has as possible causes the land tenure or the agricultural factor, since it is closely related to the basic needs of housing, food, and income. The emergence of armed movements such as the FARC, the ELN, and historically the EPL and the M19, originated in great part due to the needs for a reform in the distribution of land. For that reason, one of the central topics discussed in the negotiation with the FARC is the creation of an Integral Rural Reform. This article presents a mathematical model that allows assigning land segments to the different beneficiaries of the program of integral access and land use within the framework of this reform, applying selection criteria based on coverage.
