This paper analyzes the ways of measuring the effectiveness of International Development Cooperation (CID) in Colombia, following the signing of the Peace Agreement between the State and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-People’s Army (FARC-EP). It takes the four principles for measuring the effectiveness of the Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation (GPEDC) and makes a historical, descriptive, and critical review of the methodologies used to measure the effectiveness of CID at the national level and how these should incorporate an evaluation at the subnational level that allows to really grasp the impact of CID in the country. This may strengthen the principles of effectiveness or the methodologies for its measurement, giving way to evaluations at the subnational level in countries with high rates of internal inequality. It is concluded that, despite efforts to comply with the principles and measurement indicators of the CID, there is still a gap in compliance with them, which does not reflect the impact of cooperation effectiveness.
