Objective: To describe the prevalence of eating disorders risk, nutritional status and food consumption in a high school population of public and private schools. Materials and Methods: The SCOFF questionnaire application, anthropometric measurements and food consumption frequency survey to 671 students from two public and two private schools in the city of Bogotá. Results: A prevalence of 30.1% risk of presenting ACT was found; of that, the risk in women is 41.3%. Regarding nutritional status, there was a greater frequency of risk in the normal classification and in public institutions with 31.3%. 7.6% of the total population were of low stature, 16% were overweight and 5.1% were underweight. Conclusions: Prevalence of eating disorders risk is higher in women, with normal nutritional status (73.7%) and in public educational institutions.
