The aim of the study was to identify and analyze the social representations (SR) of fatherhood and motherhood on young males. A total of sixty guys between 17 to 24 years old, participated. Thirty boys of respondents were from middle class and the others thirty, from a low social class. A questionnaire was used to capture the (SR) by using the technique of free recall. We identified similarities and differences in the representations of these youth people, considering their different inserts. The EVOC software was used and the results showed that responsibility and love were the main elements evoked. Moreover, the elements possibly composers of the (SR) paternity and maternity for both groups, sometimes resemble, sometimes differ.
